With high resistance to Pink root, it boasts light brown colored scales and a globe shape. Short, sturdy tops and small, tight necks allow for quick curing. Candy is intended to be used for transplanting as well as direct seeding. It is a versatile mid-day onion hybrid, perfect for Fresh Market growers due to its mild-taste.

Seeds are in resealable packages. Simply empty out the number of seeds you wish to plant and place the remaining seeds in the package sealed in a cool, dry place. This will ensure your seeds are safe three to five years after purchase. But those dates can vary depending on the variety.
